Job summary

CAEtech is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer – Aerospace Manufacturing for a full-time contract position supporting aerospace and military manufacturing operations in the Los Angeles/Glendale area. This is a fully onsite, first-shift role from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM with PPE provided.

You will provide production quality support for hydromechanical and electromechanical products through fabrication, assembly and testing, engaging with customers and suppliers, managing MRB and non-conforming

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of quality engineering disciplines and manufacturing processes.
RCCA experience with root-cause and corrective-action investigations.
Experience with PFMEA, control plans and MRB processes.
Ability to read and interpret technical manufacturing documentation.

Responsibilities

Provide QA support to customers and internal Manufacturing, Assembly and Test groups.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, customers and suppliers.
Support non-conforming material and MRB activities.
Review and approve drawings, ATPs, process plans and FAI reports.
Assist in deployment of ECNs and flow-down of changes.
Manage customer returns and support failure analysis and communication.
Support internal and supplier audits and quality system compliance.
Develop and implement quality plans, PFMEAs and control plans.
