Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in Oklahoma City area seeks a Heavy Maintenance Center Quality Engineer to support MRO operations, lead investigations, and drive continuous improvement. Onsite role requiring US citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance. Travel up to 10% and familiarity with AS9100/ISO 9001 are preferred.

The role emphasizes collaboration with inspectors, engineers, and operations, plus preparation of Quality System documentation and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 2 years relevant experience.
• Onsite position at Midwest City, Oklahoma.
• Ability to obtain US Government security clearance.
• Travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Quality Inspectors, Process & Methods Engineers, Operations Team to support MRO Operations.
• Demonstrate a high level of customer focus, business judgment and teamwork.
• Interface and lead cross functional teams.
• Communicate with various levels of management, business partners and supply base.
• Collect and analyze data to minimize workflow disruptions and eliminate nonconformances/escapes.
• Lead RCCA investigations and corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Lead Quality System, process and product audits.
• Assist 3rd Party Audits as required.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• Generate and modify applicable Quality System documentation to ensure processes and requirements are clearly defined.
