Job summary

Zenix Aerospace AMT/Damar in Arlington, WA is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure product conformance to AS9100/AS9102 standards. You will lead quality initiatives, interpret engineering drawings, and interact with customers and suppliers to uphold contract requirements.

The role spans from level 1 to level 2 QE responsibilities and involves continuous improvement activities. Applicants should have strong leadership, audits experience, and proficiency with CAD tools, MS Office, and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of AS9100 / AS9102 quality standards.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Fluent understanding of GD&T.
• Documented internal audit experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of customer and industry quality standards.
• Read and interpret drawings and specs; understand GD&T.
• Perform internal audits and prepare audit reports.
• Apply PO Quality clauses in MRP system.
• Manage AMT Approved Supplier List and review manufacturing plans.
• Review Change Incorporation Requests and Contract Review Records.
• Prepare First Article Inspection Reports per AS9102.
• Provide technical input for disposition on rejected product and support nonconforming material.
