Job summary

The Marvin Group, a defense contractor based in Southern California, seeks a seasoned Quality Assurance professional to uphold contract requirements, drive corrective actions, and lead continuous improvement initiatives in support of aerospace and defense programs.

With strong GD&T knowledge and a background in QA tools, you will review requirements, manage non-conformances, and collaborate across engineering, purchasing, and program management.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years of QA experience in aerospace/defense.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Experience with ISO, ASME, MIL-STD, MS specifications.
• Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
• Experience with process improvement and root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Review customer requirements and ensure they are met.
• Lead closed-loop root cause and corrective action activities.
• Dispositions non-conforming material.
• Identify and initiate continuous improvement opportunities.
• Review end-item data packages before customer submittal.
• Participate in Change Control Board reviews.
• Collaborate with program management, engineering, purchasing, production control, operations, and inspection.
