Job summary

Red Cat Holdings in Torrance, CA, is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure our products and supply base meet the highest safety and reliability standards. You will develop, implement, and improve quality processes across the lifecycle, partnering with engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers to drive root cause resolution and continuous improvement.

The candidate should have 2–4 years in aerospace quality, familiarity with PFMEA and AS9100/ISO 9001, and be capable of balancing day‑to‑day quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field.
• 2–4 years in aerospace quality engineering on high‑rate programs.
• Able to interpret drawings, SOWs and quality clauses.
• Experience with PFMEA, APQP, PPAP, MSA and GD&T.
• Familiar with AS9100/ISO 9001 and RCCA activities.
• Willing to travel 20–50% domestically.

Responsibilities

• Plan, perform, and document inspections to verify conformance.
• Develop and maintain inspection plans and quality checklists.
• Lead design reviews, process validation, and supplier qualification.
• Drive RCCA, CAPA, and MRB activities for internal and supplier issues.
• Define and improve product/process requirements per aerospace standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to reduce variability.
• Provide quality support for customer, program, and supplier engagements.
• Monitor KPIs and drive improvements when needed.
• Contribute to QMS development aligned with AS9100/ISO 9001.
