Job summary

FDH Aero in Commerce, CA is seeking a Quality Engineer II to support and enforce quality control systems, interfacing with customers and suppliers to ensure compliance with aerospace standards.

You will lead audits, develop guidelines, and drive corrective actions across cross-functional teams, with a focus on improving First Time Quality and supplier performance in a global supply chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Structural, Systems, or related field from an Accredited Institution.
• 3-5 years in distribution, manufacturing, or supply chain.
• Experience with aerospace quality systems preferred.
• Ability to interpret engineering data and drawings to guide cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Establish and communicate facility audits including internal, customer, and 3rd registrar audits.
• Establish and maintain the organization’s audit guidelines.
• Facilitate audit activities with 3rd party auditors, customers, and internal teams; include pre-briefings, kickoff, and debriefings.
• Document audit findings and observations with corrective actions; ensure actions are completed.
