FDH Aero, headquartered in Commerce, California, is seeking a Manager of Quality to lead the Quality Management System for its aircraft parts distribution operations. You will supervise the quality team and maintain supplier and customer relationships while ensuring aerospace quality standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, 3+ years in Quality Assurance, and 1+ year in Quality leadership, with strong communication, problem-solving, and detail orientation.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields.
• 3+ years of Quality Assurance experience.
• 1+ years of Quality Leadership experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Aufgaben

• Establish and maintain compliance to AS9100 and ISO 9001 Standard.
• Champion the development and deployment of all the quality projects within the company.
• Act as the Management Representative which oversee the QMS health.
• Exhibit strong leadership, communication and critical thinking skills while leading the Quality Assurance department toward company goals and objectives.
• Oversees internal and external audits and root-cause analysis based on the AS Standard.
• Further develop the Quality Management System, implement, manage, and integrate for continuous improvement.
• Design, implement and document procedures for process control, process improvement, and inspection.
• Direct communication with customer and supplier quality representatives on quality issues.
• Establish and implement metrics for monitoring system effectiveness, quality performance (Leading and lagging indicators).
• Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements and procedures.
• Oversee surveillance, source inspections, and first article inspections and monitor the inspection system performance throughout the organization.
• Maintain supplier development efforts, and establish a strong supplier quality program.
• Ability to accommodate a hybrid work environment (3 days in office, 2 days from home).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
