Job summary

Jobot is looking for a Quality Engineer I to join our aerospace manufacturing team in Simpsonville, SC. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and at least 3 years of relevant experience, particularly with AS9102 and PPAP processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or related technical field.
• 3+ years manufacturing, quality, or engineering experience.
• Experience with AS9102, PPAP, and validation processes.
• Strong understanding of GD&T and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Support qualification and validation of aerospace processes.
• Lead AS9102 FAIR and PPAP submissions.
• Develop quality plans and maintain inspection documentation.
• Conduct Gage R&R, MSA, and correlation studies.
• Review engineering drawings and customer quality requirements.
• Participate in MRB activities and RCCA investigations.
• Partner with teams to resolve quality concerns.
• Support AS9100 compliance and audits.
• Use SPC and data analysis to reduce scrap and variation.
