Job summary

Goodwill is seeking an Aerospace Quality Engineer in Pooler, GA to develop and implement quality assurance processes that meet AS9100 and FAA standards. You will work across design, manufacturing, and sourcing teams to identify risks, perform audits, and drive continuous improvements in product quality and safety.

The role requires a bachelor’s in aerospace or related field and at least 3 years in aerospace quality engineering, with strong knowledge of QMS, FMEA, SPC, and CAPA.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years in aerospace quality engineering.
  • Knowledge of AS9100, FAA, NADCAP requirements.
  • Experience with QMS, FMEA, SPC, CAPA.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain QA processes per AS9100 and FAA.
  • Conduct CAPA investigations to resolve issues and prevent recurrence.
  • Perform audits of processes, suppliers, and products for compliance.
  • Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and supply chain to address quality concerns.
  • Analyze quality data to identify trends and drive improvements.
