Qualifications

• Entry Level Quality Engineer with basic mechanical/manufacturing knowledge and familiarity with basic quality principles.
• QE will assist Quality Manager with third party audits (ISO, AS9100, NADCAP, FAA) and ensure products meet customer requirements and industry specs prior to shipment.
• QE will communicate with management on status of quality projects, workload, quality concerns, and training progression.

Responsibilities

• Maintain current revisions of internal procedures and external specifications for compliance.
• Investigate nonconforming products and mitigate recurrence.
• Maintain and track quality metrics (scrap, rework, on-time delivery).
• Prepare reports such as First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) using AS9102 forms.
• Collect, analyze, and evaluate data for follow-up actions.
• Create quality-related work instructions, procedures, forms, documents, etc.
• Maintain register of quality rejections to track trends; perform risk assessments and root cause analysis; provide corrective actions.
