Job summary

Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) Syracuse is seeking a Quality Engineer to lead the development and maintenance of robust quality systems supporting growth in aerospace casting markets.

You will gather and audit data, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions using PDCA, Six Sigma, and related methods. Collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams is essential to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering Discipline or 7–10 years of applicable experience.
• Experience with quality systems or formal training in quality tools.
• CQA or CQ Engineer certification preferred.
• Familiar with GD&T, PPAP, FMEA; strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and advance CPP quality systems, procedures, and practices.
• Review contracts for adherence with CPP standards and practices.
• Interact with CPP NDT level III personnel to ensure product compliance.
• Oversee conformance and quality enforcement of casting manufacturing process.
• Routinely audit production lots for adherence to established techniques.
