Job summary

Ilocatum, an aerospace manufacturer in north Texas, seeks a Quality Engineer to drive defect prevention and process capability in a full-time role located in Olney, TX. The role offers $100,000 to $120,000 yearly plus a quarterly bonus up to 40% and two annual shutdowns.

Responsibilities include PFMEA facilitation, control plan development, root-cause investigations, and data-driven quality improvement across manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of manufacturing or aerospace quality experience.
• Strong knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, and RCCA.
• Lean principles knowledge.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate PFMEAs and process risk assessments.
• Develop and maintain Control Plans.
• Lead root cause and corrective action investigations.
• Analyze quality trends, escapes, and defect data.
• Run statistical analysis and Cp/Cpk studies.
• Build quality dashboards and metrics.
• Drive COPQ reduction and continuous improvement.
• Support manufacturing readiness and process validation.
• Improve first pass yield and reduce recurring defects.
