Job summary

PSI Pax, Inc. is seeking a Quality Engineer to drive defect prevention and continuous improvement in our Dallas-area manufacturing operations. You will develop PFMEAs, Control Plans, and process capability improvements while collaborating with Manufacturing Engineering and Operations.

The role emphasizes root-cause investigations, data analysis, and deployment of dashboards to monitor quality performance. A strong background in PFMEA and Lean is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years manufacturing or aerospace quality experience.
• Knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, RCCA, and Lean principles.
• ASQ CQE certification preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate PFMEAs and process risk assessments.
• Develop and maintain Control Plans.
• Lead root cause and corrective action investigations.
• Analyze quality trends, escapes, and defect data.
• Conduct statistical analysis and process capability studies.
• Develop quality dashboards and metrics.

The Quality Engineer is responsible for driving defect prevention through robust process controls, risk assessment, and data-driven continuous improvement. This position partners closely with Manufacturing Engineering and Operations to develop PFMEAs, Control Plans, process capability improvements, and corrective action systems that improve product quality and manufacturing performance.
