Job summary

ADDMAN Engineering in Irvine, CA is seeking a Quality Engineer to support QC/QA activities across manufacturing and programs. You will help drive continual improvement, support PPAP/FMEAs and training, and ensure compliance with AS9100D, ISO13485, IATF16949 as applicable.

The role involves root cause investigations, CAPA, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering and operations to improve quality metrics and reduce scrap.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field or equivalent experience with aerospace/regulated manufacturing (8+ years).
• Expert knowledge of AS9100D and AS9102 requirements.
• Demonstrated MRB, CAPA, RCA, FAIRs, audits and supplier quality experience.
• Strong GD&T understanding and ability to read engineering drawings.
• Experience leading cross-functional root cause investigations.
• Proficiency with SPC, MSA, process validation, and risk management techniques.
• U.S. aerospace manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support maintenance and continual improvement of the AS9100D/ISO13485 quality management systems.
• Lead supplier quality investigations and coordinate SCARs.
• Review disposition activities for CARs, NCRs, MRBs, RMAs, FAIRs, inspections, and validations.
• Identify and implement opportunities to reduce waste and improve process capability.
• Design, develop, and implement quality control systems and CI initiatives.
• Provide data reports and KPI analyses to quality and management.
