Job summary

RAM Aerospace in Saint George, UT, and Valencia, CA, designs and builds precision flight hardware. As the Quality Engineer (Cleanroom), you oversee ISO Class 7 operations, ensuring valve/actuator quality and adherence to spaceflight specs.

You will collaborate with design and manufacturing engineers on the floor, lead containment and root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement across programs. You will review drawings, support audits, and host customer visits while upholding strict

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required; mechanical engineering preferred.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, measuring, and testing.
• Experience leading root cause analysis using 8D, 5 Whys, or Cause and Effect.
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings.
• Cleanroom or aerospace manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design engineers during design reviews and post-production support; serve as the Quality Engineering focal point across programs.
• Maintain and improve ISO Class 7 cleanroom quality systems; champion contamination control and ISO standards.
• Lead containment and root cause investigations for non-conformances; present findings to stakeholders and customers.
• Review compliance with policies, drawings, and customer requirements; ensure manufacturing processes meet specifications.
• Perform internal audits and support external audits; host customer visits and manufacturing readiness reviews.
• Drive continuous improvement; initiate Lean and Six Sigma activities to reduce scrap and improve yield.
