Job summary

RAM Aerospace in the United States seeks an Operational Excellence Engineer to lead Lean initiatives, reduce waste, and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing. You will partner with engineering, production, and quality teams to design value streams and sustain improvements that boost throughput and quality.

The role requires hands-on kaizen facilitation, data-driven decision making, and strong communication to coach on the shop floor and with leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years in operational excellence or industrial engineering.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt required; Black Belt preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lean Program Leadership: champion design, execution, and sustainment of Lean initiatives across RAM's manufacturing operations.
• Process Analysis & Waste Elimination: apply value stream mapping and data analysis to identify inefficiencies.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration: partner with production supervisors, engineers, and quality teams.
• Training & Culture Development: build Lean capability and coach employees on improvement projects.
• Metrics & Performance Management: develop and maintain operational KPIs and visual management.
• Standard Work & Documentation: establish standard work and integrate into training and quality systems.
