Job summary

Tutor Perini Corporation is seeking a Quality Control Engineer for our Los Angeles, CA office to contribute to civil, structural, mechanical, piping, welding, NDE and electrical QC work.

The role reports to the Quality Control Manager and involves inspections, documentation, audits, and coordination with project teams to ensure compliance with contract specifications and safety standards. A bachelor's degree in engineering and 1-2+ years of QC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-4+ years of quality engineering experience in aerospace or highly regulated manufacturing.
• CQE or similar ASQ certification preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related discipline.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Oversee supplier quality activities and ensure material and finished product conformance.
• Lead audits, assessments, and corrective action closures.
• Define quality plans, inspection methods, and testing requirements.
• Review manufacturing routings and quality checkpoints for proper inspection requirements.
• Coordinate corrective actions and verify effectiveness.
