Job summary

Russ Hadick Associates is recruiting on behalf of a manufacturing organization to fill a Quality Engineer role on-site in Connecticut. The position focuses on maintaining product conformity, evaluating production performance, and ensuring compliance with customer requirements.

The role combines drawing interpretation, inspection planning, data analysis, auditing, and continuous improvement. Collaboration with manufacturing, engineering, quality, and customers is essential to drive corrective

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with at least three years of related experience or equivalent.
• Experience supporting Pratt & Whitney programs is preferred.
• Experience in aerospace manufacturing or precision engineering is a plus.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and apply GD&T (ANSI Y14.5).
• Familiarity with AS9102 First Article Inspection documentation.

Responsibilities

• Translate drawings and requirements into inspection methods and criteria.
• Coordinate First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Support quality system audits and recommend improvements.
• Analyze production data to identify defects and opportunities for improvement.
• Perform and assess Gage R&R studies for measurement systems.
• Apply PFMEA, PPAP, and MSA to assess risk and support validation.
• Investigate quality concerns and implement corrective actions with teams.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and process capability.
• Stay informed on quality standards and industry requirements.
• Collaborate across manufacturing, engineering, quality, and customers.

Education

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
