Job summary

Anduril Industries, a defense technology company based in the Costa Mesa area, seeks a Quality Control Manager to lead a production QC team. You will work with production leadership, product quality engineers, and manufacturing engineers to ensure controls are executed as expected and continuously improved.

This role emphasizes leadership, process ownership, and quality outcomes within aerospace manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations or related field
• 5+ years of quality/regulatory experience in aerospace
• 3+ years in a management role
• Strong understanding of QMS & AS9100/ISO requirements and/or FAA/EASA regulations
• Experience with PCBA manufacturing processes, soldering and testing methods
• Experience with CAD and engineering drawings

Responsibilities

• Drive safety culture and resolve safety issues
• Manage site quality control resource plans including hiring and onboarding
• Ensure staff are trained and pass internal audits
• Establish quality controls using dashboards and KPI reviews
• Develop and maintain quality standards and procedures
• Coordinate inspection plans for incoming materials and assemblies
• Lead continuous quality improvements and MES/QMS investments
• Collaborate with engineers to support new product introduction
• Ensure equipment and facilities meet QC requirements
