Job summary

Castelion is seeking a Quality Systems Engineer to manage the Quality Management System and ensure compliance with aerospace standards across all sites. You will lead audits, maintain certifications, and drive corrective actions while partnering with teams to scale quality processes.

The role emphasizes a proactive, collaborative approach to compliance, aiming to reduce friction and support rapid growth. Prior AS9100 experience and capability in supplier audits are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in aerospace quality, compliance, or audit roles with direct AS9100 experience.
• Demonstrated experience conducting internal and external audits.

Responsibilities

• Oversee QMS to AS9100 and other standards across Castelion sites.
• Lead internal and external audits and manage corrective actions.
• Coordinate supplier quality audits and supplier qualification activities.
• Maintain AS9100 and NADCAP certifications and support regulatory compliance (FAR, ITAR, DFARS).
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Program Management to embed quality throughout product lifecycle.
