RTX seeks a motivated student for an onsite Quality Engineering co-op/internship in Melbourne, FL. You will support Quality Engineering, Inspection, and QA activities within a high-precision aerospace manufacturing environment, focusing on First Article Inspection and data-driven improvements.

You will learn to analyze quality data, review specifications, and collaborate with engineering and production teams to drive corrective actions and process enhancements.

Qualifikationen

• Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Aerospace, Industrial Technology, or a related field and through the completion of the co-op session.
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Aufgaben

• Support daily activities across Quality Engineering, Quality Inspection, Quality Assurance, and First Article Inspection (FAI) teams in a high-precision aerospace manufacturing environment.
• Assist in collecting, organizing, and analyzing quality data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Participate in First Article Inspection (FAI) efforts, including documentation review, verification of specifications, and coordination with engineering and production teams.
• Conduct process walk-throughs, documentation checks, and quality audits to ensure compliance with internal procedures and industry standards.
