Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in Savannah, GA is seeking a QC Inspector I to support Initial, Composites, and Final Phase manufacturing. You will inspect aircraft parts and assemblies against design data, using drawings, travelers, and QA procedures.

Requires a high school diploma or GED, and 1 year quality inspection experience or 2 years of GAC manufacturing experience. Knowledge of CATIA or blueprint reading is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year quality inspection experience or 2 years GAC manufacturing experience required.
• 2 years manufacturing experience or equivalent aerospace experience preferred.
• Other Formal Inspection Training Program 90 Days required.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection duties using engineering drawings, orders, route cards, inspection travelers, work instructions, and QA procedures.
• Conduct preliminary and progressive inspections of aircraft structure and systems; verify function and paperwork.
• Perform conformity/first article inspections to ensure compliance with FAA procedures.
• Ensure proper use and storage of tools and equipment; maintain safety and quality records.
• Support safety programs and participate in hazard reporting and improvement activities.
