Job summary

Safran Aerosystems is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to uphold product quality on the manufacturing floor in North America. You will conduct inspections, verify conformance to latest drawings, and document results with precision.

The role requires a High School Diploma/GED and more than 3 years of inspection experience, with strong communication and basic computer skills. Regular attendance and safety compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• Product and procedural knowledge of various product lines.
• Must have good written and verbal skills and ability to communicate professionally with other departments and/or customer or government representatives during inspection activities.
• Some computer knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Understand and apply all aspects of the Quality system including QSM, QSPs, QB's SODs, Checklists, ATPs and ATRs.
• Verify that manufactured items meet drawings/specifications using measurement and test equipment (MTE).
• Complete inspection paperwork to ensure identification and traceability and separate conforming/nonconforming product.
• Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) and prepare FAI paperwork using AS9102 format.
• Demonstrate leadership, work with minimum supervision to solve inspection/manufacturing problems.
