Job summary

Chromalloy Corporation in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a QC Inspector to support receiving, in-process, and final inspections in our aerospace manufacturing operation. You will verify parts meet customer, quality, and regulatory requirements while helping keep production moving on schedule.

The role requires 1–2 years of quality inspection experience, the ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools, and a strong eye for detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of quality inspection experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and customer requirements.
• Experience using precision measuring equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Good computer, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving, in-process, outsourcing, and final inspections
• Verify part counts, serial numbers, certifications, and customer requirements
• Review travelers, routing instructions, and production documentation
• Inspect parts using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
• Identify, document, and help resolve nonconformances
• Support production teams with quality-related questions and issues
• Complete inspection records, certifications, and quality documentation
• Validate outside processing documentation and certifications
• Assist with corrective actions and continuous improvement efforts
• Help drive quality, process consistency, and on-time delivery
