Job summary

ATI in Appleton, Wisconsin is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for a weekend night shift (Fri-Sun, 5pm-5am). The role focuses on receiving, unpacking and sorting materials, inspecting finished components, and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.

The Appleton plant offers a climate-controlled environment with modern inspection equipment and requires testing, forklift operation, and 5S practices. Candidates will take skills tests, eye/color exams, and forklift assessments.

Qualifications

• Must have 1+ years in manufacturing.
• Proficiency with computers and technology.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Distribute incoming materials to designated locations.
• Break down used packaging materials for proper disposal.
• Perform maintenance on dock equipment (locks, plates, doors, cranes).
• Use hand and power tools (circular saw, hammer drill, bit driver, hammers).
• Safely use overhead crane and lifting devices.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area using 5S methodology.
• Identify finished product with dot peen stamping and barcode scanning.
• Maintain product traceability identification.
