Job summary

ATI is seeking an Ultrasonic Testing Technician (Quality Assurance) for our Appleton, WI location. This weekend night role runs Friday to Sunday, 5 pm to 5 am. Training is paid and conducted on-site with trained personnel.

The technician will perform water-immersion UT testing on aerospace components in a climate-controlled environment. You will learn ATI processes quickly, solve problems, and ensure the integrity of our components through precise testing, setup, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Two years of manufacturing experience or a technical degree/certification.
• NDT schooling or prior NDT work experience strongly preferred.
• Military experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and perform water immersion ultrasonic tests to determine material acceptability.
• Examine components for internal/external defects and document results.
• Prepare materials and operate equipment, including cleaning and setup.
• Read blueprints and specifications to guide ultrasonic tests and report prep.
