Chromalloy is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to perform in-process inspections and verification activities that ensure aerospace components meet engineering, customer, and regulatory requirements. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years aviation, manufacturing, or quality inspection experience.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specs, and technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process inspections to verify conformance to drawings, specs, work instructions, and quality requirements.
• Conduct receiving, production, and shipping inspections as needed.
• Utilize precision measuring and inspection equipment to evaluate product conformity.
• Interpret engineering drawings, customer specifications, sampling plans, and quality standards.
• Identify, document, and communicate nonconformances and support corrective actions.
• Verify manufacturing and inspection steps are completed before moving to next operation.
• Maintain inspection records, travelers, routers, and quality documentation for traceability.
• Ensure inspection equipment is calibrated and suitable for use.
