Job summary

Our Client's aerospace facility in Huntington Beach seeks a Quality Assurance Manager with an engineering degree and 5+ years of QA experience, including AS9100 proficiency. You will lead the QA team to uphold the integrity of aircraft cabin interiors and ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include directing QMS, driving continuous improvement with APQP, PFMEA and Lean Six-Sigma, mentoring staff, coordinating with engineering, operations and customers, and monitoring KPIs to ensure

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of QA experience.
• AS9100 knowledge or certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee QMS and QA programs ensuring FAA, AS9100, and customer requirements for aircraft cabin interiors.
• Lead process improvement and operations optimization using APQP, PFMEA, and Lean Six-Sigma to detect nonconformances and cost savings.
• Mentor and develop a team of quality engineers, administrative personnel, and inspectors, providing training on QMS and problem-solving tools.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, supply chain, and customers to resolve quality issues and manage audits.
• Monitor KPIs and oversee corrective and preventive actions.
