Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to verify precision sheet metal parts meet AS9100/NADCAP standards. You will conduct first article, in-process, and final inspections using CMM, calipers, micrometers, and other gauges.

Role requires attention to detail, blueprints interpretation, and documenting quality records. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in quality inspection, strong measurement skills, and the ability to collaborate with production and engineering to resolve

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
2+ years of quality inspection experience in precision sheet metal or aerospace manufacturing.
Familiarity with AS9100, NADCAP, and ISO quality systems.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
Strong measurement tool knowledge and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections on precision sheet metal parts and assemblies.
Verify dimensions, tolerances, and cosmetic requirements using precision tools and CMM.
Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and job travelers.
Document NCRs and quality records; support audits and continuous improvement.
Maintain calibration logs and ensure proper use of inspection gauges.
