Job summary

SierTeK is seeking an Epidemiologist to support USAFSAM Public Health and Readiness by conducting surveillance, data analysis, and public health investigations that enhance Air Force health and readiness. You will work with military and civilian stakeholders to improve disease surveillance systems.

The role involves designing studies, developing protocols, and coordinating with installations, MAJCOMs, and DHA to deliver actionable health insights.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or a closely related field.
• Strong knowledge of epidemiology, biostatistics, and public health principles.
• Experience using public health surveillance systems (DRSi, ESSENCE) and related data tools.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze health surveillance data to support USAFSAM programs.
• Design and assist epidemiological studies and public health investigations.
• Develop data management protocols and ensure data quality across systems.
• Prepare technical reports, summaries, and briefings communicating findings.
• Collaborate with military and civilian stakeholders to improve disease surveillance.
