Job summary

SierTeK Ltd in the United States (OH) seeks a Public Health Technician / Epidemiologist to support USAF School of Aerospace Medicine (USAFSAM) at Wright Patterson AFB.

The role provides epidemiological expertise for health studies, surveillance, and research to enhance force health protection, readiness, and human performance.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to analyze health data, conduct investigations, develop scientific products, and support evidence-based decision-making.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Public Health or closely related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in public health, epidemiology, aerospace medicine, military medicine, or healthcare research.
• Strong knowledge of epidemiologic principles, study design, and public health surveillance.
• Experience designing and analyzing surveys or questionnaires for research or occupational health programs.
• Ability to learn and utilize analytical tools such as Tableau, Python, R, and SAS Viya.

Responsibilities

• Provide epidemiological expertise in support of operational health studies and surveillance.
• Design, execute, and analyze operational/public health research studies.
• Collaborate with researchers, military stakeholders, and public health professionals to address health concerns.
• Produce routine and ad hoc analytical reports for leadership; draft scientific documents and presentations.
