Job summary

Venus Aerospace is seeking an Aerospace Integration Technician to support rapid R&D-to-production progression for next-generation propulsion systems. The role is hands-on, demanding, and ideal for engineers who thrive on fast iteration and building robust production foundations.

On-site in Houston, TX, you will assemble, align, and integrate propulsion hardware while refining build processes, troubleshooting across mechanical and electrical subsystems, and documenting deviations for continuous

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with precision machined propulsion components.
  • Ability to interpret CAD drawings, schematics, and engineering work instructions.
  • Familiarity with clean-build standards and aerospace-quality workmanship.
  • Strong troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, and fluid subsystems.
  • Comfortable in an R&D environment where designs evolve rapidly and you help build repeatable production processes.

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed assembly, alignment, and integration of propulsion system hardware including combustion components and instrumentation.
  • Execute precision mechanical operations such as torquing, clocking, fixturing, and alignment verification.
  • Assist in developing and maturing build processes by identifying workflow improvements and creating repeatable procedures.
  • Integrate electrical harnessing, sensors, and instrumentation with attention to routing and shielding.
  • Conduct system-level checkouts including leak checks, pressure checks, and instrumentation validation.
  • Support test operations by preparing hardware, performing configuration changes, and troubleshooting issues.
  • Document builds, capture deviations, and collaborate with engineering to refine designs and tolerances.
  • Help establish best practices from prototype hardware to a stable production baseline.
