GE Aerospace in the United States seeks a Mechanical/Aerospace Engineer to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to design and analyze mechanical components and systems for experimental aero-thermal tests. You will develop designs using 3D CAD and apply engineering principles to assess integrity and performance.

Responsibilities include performing analyses from classical methods to Finite Element Analysis (FEA), creating manufacturing drawings, and communicating findings via presentations.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering from an accredited university.
• 1+ years engineering experience, including internships, in high speed propulsion.
• U.S. Government contract restrictions apply; U.S. Citizens only.

• Execute design, analysis and evaluation of assigned projects using engineering principles.
• Develop mechanical components and subsystems using 3D CAD.
• Prepare drawings to manufacture prototypes or components of an experimental setup.
• Perform analyses from classical methods to FEA simulations for structural/thermal/fluids behavior.
• Document assumptions and proposed solutions to multidisciplinary teams.
• Prepare presentations to communicate progress and ideas.
• Collaborate with Integrated Product Teams to verify designs meet objectives.
