Job summary

Mission Driven Research (MDR) is seeking an exceptionally talented Project/Program Manager to join our team supporting the FAA's Office of Commercial Space Transportation (AST). You will lead technical personnel and day-to-day execution of AST safety engineering task orders, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget are on track while serving as MDR's primary point of contact to the FAA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, mathematics, or science is required.
• Ten years of industry experience managing technical personnel in aerospace, including schedules and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical staff engaged in policy, guidance, processes, tools, and analyses for the aerospace industry.
• Own end-product quality, customer reporting, and task-order schedules and budgets.
• Lead post-award kickoff and ensure SOW scope and deliverables are clear.
• Prepare PMSRs and conduct quarterly program reviews with cost reporting.
• Coordinate subcontractors and teammates to meet contract requirements.
• Maintain a quality management system in line with contract requirements.
