Mission Driven Research, Inc. is seeking an Associate Engineer/Analyst to join our team supporting the FAA's Office of Commercial Space Transportation (AST) in Huntsville, AL.

You will assist in technical investigations, analyses, and the development of processes and tools under senior engineers, contributing to flight safety and regulatory compliance. You'll participate in data collection, reduction, and analysis for safety tasks, help prepare technical documentation, and support tool

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, mathematics, or science.
• Two years of related industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Contributing to the conduct of technical investigations and analyses under the direction of senior staff
• Assisting in the development of technical processes, reports, and tools
• Supporting data collection, reduction, and analysis for flight safety and system safety tasks
• Helping prepare technical documentation, reference data, and deliverables
• Supporting tool development and testing activities within AST's research and development work
