Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of Project Management experience in the aerospace manufacturing industry.
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
• Experience with AS9100 quality management system and project costing/budget tracking.

Responsibilities

• Manage aerospace tooling and manufacturing projects from kickoff through completion.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for aerospace customers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop, maintain, and communicate project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
• Coordinate activities between Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, and Production.
• Monitor project performance, budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure successful execution.
• Lead customer meetings and provide regular project status updates.
• Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement corrective actions.
• Review engineering changes and evaluate their impact on schedule, cost, resources, and project scope.
• Ensure projects meet customer requirements, specifications, and applicable aerospace quality standards.
• Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, records, schedules, and reports.
• Communicate project priorities, changes, and deadlines effectively across departments.
• Assist with resolving production, quality, scheduling, and customer-related issues.
• Track project progress and proactively communicate potential delays or concerns.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence efforts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of Project Management experience in the aerospace manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes, including tooling, fabrication,machining, and assembly.
• Experience working within an AS9100 quality management system.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and customerexpectations.
• Excellent communication, leadership, organization, and customer relationship skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Project.
• Experience with ERP systems and project management software preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalentindustry experience will be considered.
• Preferred Experience Aerospace tooling or fixture manufacturing.
• CNC machining and fabrication environments.
• Experience managing customer-driven engineering changes.
• Experience with aerospace OEM or Tier 1/Tier 2 customers.
• Experience with project costing, quoting, and budget tracking.
• Familiarity with AS9100D, customer-specific requirements, and aerospace documentation practices.
