Job summary

Steelcrest Precision is seeking a seasoned Project Manager/Engineer to drive quotes, manage first-run aerospace parts, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-precision machined components for aerospace customers.

The role focuses on RFQ data gathering, drawing on ITAR/AS9100 knowledge, and coordinating with Operations, Procurement, and Engineering to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to stringent quality standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of success in Aerospace Industry.
• Expertise in Aerospace supply chain (ITAR, AS9100, FAI, Nadcap).
• Strong knowledge of machining processes (Turning, Milling, Grinding, EDM, CNC).
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and parts lists from Aerospace OEMs.
• Experience communicating with customers on technical and commercial aspects.

Responsibilities

• Win quotes and proposals with aerospace customers and manage first-run parts.
• Lead cross-functional teams to gather RFQ data (pricing, coatings, processes).
• Manage critical first-run aerospace parts and coordinate with Operations, Procurement, Engineering.
• Interface with customers for RFQ and manufacturing support and provide project updates.
• Ensure AS9100 compliant procedures and drive cross-functional prioritization.
