Job summary

Steelcrest Precision is seeking an Aerospace Estimating & Program Engineer to join our team in Wauseon, OH. The role focuses on winning quotes and managing first-run parts while coordinating with Operations, Procurement and Engineering to meet aerospace customer needs.

Responsibilities include leading cross-functional efforts to gather RFQ data, ensuring compliance with AS9100, and serving as the technical point of contact for customers on delivery updates and project status.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of success in Aerospace Industry.
• Strong understanding of Aerospace Supply Chain and related standards (ITAR, AS9100, FAI, Nadcap).
• Ability to read and interpret Blue Prints, Drawings and Parts Lists.
• Experience driving RFQ quotes and coordinating with customers.

Responsibilities

• Win quotes and proposals for Aerospace customers and transition to production.
• Lead cross-functional teams to gather RFQ data (pricing, coatings, out processes).
• Manage first-run parts and drive accountability with Operations, Procurement and Engineering.
• Interface with customers for RFQ support and project updates.
• Ensure processes align with AS9100 requirements and contract reviews.
