Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking an Engineering Intern at our North Berwick, ME site. You will provide project engineering support across a range of tasks from preliminary design through detailed design phases, delivering timely results and contributing fresh ideas to the team.

The role emphasizes hands-on learning, technical report preparation, and collaboration with engineers to advance technology and process improvements in a dynamic aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related STEM field and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship session.
• Must have a minimum of 30 hours of credit by the start of the internship session.
• Minimum 3.0 Cumulative GPA.
• Experience may be obtained through on‑the‑job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing day‑to‑day tasks, ensuring timely completion, prioritizing workload effectively, and maintaining organization across multiple activities.
• Prepare accurate technical reports that summarize engineering data, project performance, and key insights to support decision‑making and project planning.
• Project support of tasks from preliminary design through detailed design phases.
• Coordinating with others in advancing technology and process improvements.
