Job summary

Collins Aerospace is offering a Project Engineering Intern position where you will join an engineering department within Landing Systems to learn design, testing, analysis and customer support for aircraft wheels and braking systems.

You will be embedded within an engineering team, delivering engineering deliverables while learning internal processes and collaborating with cross-functional teams across various engineering disciplines.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related STEM major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
• Must have a minimum of 30 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co-op session.

Responsibilities

• Work within an engineering department to learn design, test, analysis and customer support for aircraft wheels, brakes, and braking systems.
• Be embedded within an engineering team and responsible for engineering deliverables, learning internal processes, and collaborating with cross functional teams.
• Opportunity to join teams such as Materials and Process, Analytical Tech, Test Lab, Systems, Project Engineering, Design, Sustaining, or Supplier Designed Equipment as needed.
