Job summary

Collins Aerospace offers a full-time co-op in Landing Systems for engineering students. You will be embedded in an engineering team and learn design, test, analysis, and customer support related to aircraft wheels and braking systems.

You will rotate across teams based on business needs and your interests, delivering engineering outputs while adhering to internal processes. The program runs May/June through December, with Monday–Friday sessions, and is designed to develop practical skills and

Qualifications

Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related STEM major and actively enrolled through the internship period.
Must have a minimum of 30 hours of credit by the start of the internship/co-op session.
Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Responsibilities

Immerse yourself in a full-time, Monday-Friday co-op session May/June-December.
Work within an engineering department to learn design, test, analysis, and customer support for aircraft wheels, brakes, and braking systems.
Embedded within an engineering team, contribute to engineering deliverables and learn internal processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
