Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Project Engineer II to join the G570 APU Program within the Auxiliary Power Unit Project Engineering team. You will work with project leadership, customers, and cross-functional teams on schedule and execution.

This role emphasizes managing the IMS, budgets, and risk, while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver performance within technical requirements on a hybrid work schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Project, Systems, or Test engineering

Responsibilities

• Support and lead systems and test engineering efforts for the G570 APU Program including requirements management, system integration, and engine development/qualification test efforts
• Maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), track project milestones, and ensure adherence to strict technical requirements
• Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as necessary to achieve project goals
• Complete monthly budget and schedule updates (CAM activities)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables
• Communicate with team leadership and the customer regarding program status
