Job summary

Cyient Limited in East Hartford, CT is seeking an entry-level engineer to perform standard engineering tasks under supervision. You will develop simple plans, calculations, and bills of materials in accordance with codes and drawings, with on-the-job training provided.

You will support scheduling for aerospace programs, read technical prints, and participate in Teamcenter workflows while coordinating with IPT teams to ensure on-time delivery and compliance with EAR/ITAR export requirements.

Qualifications

• AS or BS in a technical field such as Power Systems, Automotive, Manufacturing, Aerospace or other STEM fields of study.
• Entry-level position with supervised engineering tasks and on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage industrial level schedules.
• Provide schedules as part of aerospace engineering gate reviews.
• Revise scheduling and planning to accommodate program changes.
• Attend IPT and CIPT meetings to provide status.
• Drive deliverables toward on-time completion.
• Facilitate the ordering and shipping of hardware for aerospace engine builds/tests.
• Own export shipment plan and export paperwork.
• Coordinate with vendors on aerospace hardware creation.
• Execute Teamcenter workflow for engineering changes.
• Track action items with IPT leads and designers.
