Job summary

Ducommun, Inc. in Coxsackie, NY is seeking a Project Engineer to support customer products through quoting, planning, and new business implementation. You will translate 3D MBD and legacy drawings into internal documents, create BOMs, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

You will act as the interface between customers and internal operations, driving risk management and ensuring producibility improvements while coordinating tooling and project milestones using MS Project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required.
• Aerospace manufacturing experience desirable; shop experience preferred.
• Fluency in CAD tools, preferably CATIA, and strong documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Interface with customers and internal operations to capture requirements.
• Lead risk management assessment for projects.
• Prepare quotations and support VA/DFM improvements.
• Identify tooling needs and fixtures for production.
• Plan manufacturing operations and maintain BOMs.
• Provide cost estimates for RFQs and coordinate with suppliers.
