Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, a RTX company, is seeking a Mechanical or Aerospace Engineer to join our on-site team in Florida for a defense program. You will coordinate with IPT leads, work with suppliers to hit hardware delivery milestones, and participate in validation activities including engine build and test.

The role requires collaboration across disciplines, applying Agile practices and managing budget and schedule per program commitments.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering; 2+ years of relevant engineering experience.
U.S. citizenship required due to program/contract requirements.
Proficiency in AGILE, Confluence, Jira, and SAP; CAM experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with Integrated Product Team Leads to meet task and technical requirements.
Work with supplier resources to meet hardware delivery requirements and milestones.
Participate in validation activities, including engine build and test, throughout the validation phase.
Operate across a wide range of disciplines and management levels with internal/external customers.
Utilize Agile, Jira and Confluence to manage status and content for customers.
Manage budget and schedule in accordance with negotiated deliverables.
