Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Aerospace Project Engineer in Goleta, CA to support the design, manufacturing, and test of space hardware. The role emphasizes systems engineering leadership, rigorous requirements development, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful program outcomes.

You will generate and review documentation, manage verification procedures, and lead technical teams to deliver on schedule and within budget in a dynamic space industry environment.

Qualifications

  • B.S. in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in designing, developing, manufacturing, and testing production hardware.
  • Proven systems-level engineering experience and prior leadership of technical teams.
  • Experience with PDM Pro, SolidWorks, SolidWorks Simulation, Thermal Desktop, NASTRAN, or ANSYS.
  • Familiarity with GSFC-STD-7000A (GEVS), AIAA S-114-2005, NASA-STD-5017, MMPDS, and similar.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
