Job summary

Beaver Aerospace & Defense, a Héroux-Devtek company, is an on-site program coordination role in Livonia, Michigan. The role plans, schedules, and coordinates materials and production activities to ensure on-time delivery to customers.

It serves as the link between Materials, Production, Quality, Engineering, Shipping & Receiving, and Program Management. This exempt, on-site position requires a degree in a related field and several years of materials management experience in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of plant-level materials management experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with production planning, inventory control, work orders, purchasing principles and contracts.
• Hands-on ERP/MRP experience managing work orders, inventory, and purchasing.
• Strong problem-solving, math, and critical thinking skills.
• Clear communicator able to lead meetings and work across departments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Aerospace/defense or AS9100 manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day work across Customer Service, Production, Machining, Inspection, and Shipping & Receiving to keep programs on schedule.
• Review sales orders and production schedules to determine material, capacity, and production requirements.
• Plan and set work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to protect customer delivery dates.
• Create, track, and close work orders, ensuring labor, material, and outside processing costs are captured.
• Update work orders and related records when engineering changes are authorized.
• Review inventory against customer requirements; reconcile discrepancies and correct ERP records.
