Job summary

Héroux-Devtek Inc. in Livonia, Michigan, with Beaver Aerospace & Defense as a division, seeks a Program Coordinator to lead manufacturing programs. You will coordinate schedules, manage work orders, and liaise with purchasing to ensure on-time delivery of aerospace components.

Ideal candidates have strong materials management experience, contract/purchasing understanding, and solid MS Office skills for daily operations and reporting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s or associate Degree.
• A minimum of 5 years of plant level materials management experience.
• Understanding of general contracts, purchasing principles, and policies.
• Ability to excel in a high visibility position.
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Applications.
• Successful problem-solving experience.
• Effective program/project management skills.
• Ability to apply math skills and critical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and monitors the work activities of employees engaged in production or processing of goods.
• Reviews sales orders to obtain production schedules and necessary materials information.
• Reads production schedules and records to determine production requirements.
• Creates, tracks, and closes work orders to support future needs ensuring costs are documented.
