Job summary

Protingent is seeking a Program Manager for an onsite role in Elyria, OH, to lead cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, and supply chain. You will manage proposals, schedules, cost targets, and risk, guiding programs from inception through production readiness at a historic Elyria facility.

The successful candidate will have 5+ years in program/project management in aerospace/medical/industrial settings, strong PM methodologies, and proficiency with MS Project and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in Program Management or technical project management.
• Expert knowledge of program management methodologies and ability to guide cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project and MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead proposal reviews, bid packages, statements of work (SOW), engineering cost estimates, and program schedules.
• Plan programs and lead cross-functional IPTs across engineering, operations, and supply chain to meet cost and manufacturability targets.
• Manage project scope to align with contract requirements; enforce standard change management processes.
• Monitor and control non-recurring engineering (NRE) costs and drive design-to-cost targets; maintain schedules in MS Project.
• Identify, track, and mitigate technical, schedule, and financial risks through standard risk management.
• Facilitate Production Readiness Reviews and smooth transition to full-scale manufacturing.
• Coordinate regular program reviews and present key performance metrics to leadership and stakeholders.
