Job summary

Knight Aerospace is seeking a Program Manager II to oversee aerospace programs from initiation through delivery, ensuring adherence to schedule, scope, and cost while coordinating with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.

The role requires 3–5 years of program management experience in aerospace/manufacturing, proficiency with project tools, and a Bachelor’s degree; PMP is preferred. The position is based in San Antonio, TX, with on-site work and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of aerospace or aviation program management experience.
• At least 3 years of program management experience in manufacturing.
• Experience managing schedules, budgets, risks, and cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with EVM, CDRLs, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily execution of programs within contractual requirements to meet cost, schedule, and technical performance goals.
• Lead daily stand-up meetings for assigned programs and communicate schedule/budget status to stakeholders.
• Manage customer relationships and ensure programs meet customer requirements and progress is clearly reported.
• Create and maintain project milestone schedules with inputs from engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and subcontractors.
• Oversee delivery of contract data requirements lists (CDRLs) and related documents.
